marketing manager
A unique opportunity to join a growing team and manage our brand presence across all
digital channels from emails to our social, brand ambassador communication,
marketing calendars for different channels and more. As a digitally native brand with
both retail and online presence, this is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of one
digital designer and one social media manager sparking joy daily through social posts,
influencer outreach, brand ambassador programs, digital story-telling and other
marketing initiatives. This role is in-office at our Austin headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Packed Party’s digital designer to ensure we’re marketing and communicating about products in a strategic, on-brand and measurable way through copy and imagery to ensure seamless brand feel from product to the way we show it in our emails. Oversee all email marketing campaigns,SMS and digital ad campaigns as the final eye over the digital designer ensuring they are on brand and targeted to the appropriate audiences between our direct and wholesale customers.
- Own and manage Packed Party’s internal marketing calendar working collaboratively with Packed Party’s e-commerce director and third party agencies to ensure our promotional calendar aligns with the brand’s website and social platforms so messaging, imagery, and codes are always consistent across platforms.
- Analyze and track performance marketing performance metrics such as:
- KPIs for marketing events and initiatives
- SMS and email success metrics and report + apply on learnings
- Budgets for marketing expenditures and tracking return on investment
- Deep dive into the Packed Party customer and identify ways we can better target and reach these customers via marketing campaigns, customer surveys and/or new product offerings
- Own all aspects of strategic marketing programs from ideation to execution (brand ambassadors, influencers and field marketing events) from building a roadmap for each initiative to executing campaigns and tracking what is and is not working.
- Manage Brand ambassador and influencer programs and any field marketing events.
- Champion partnerships to drive additional topline revenue at low lift to the
brand - Own strategy and execution of Packed Party Customer Loyalty Program
from targeting VIPs to launching a rewards program that increases repeat
customer visits - Own relationship with the third party we use to create all organic social
posts on Instagram and TikTok. Manage the process from ideation of
concepts and products to review and approval of photos/videos/and
captions to monitoring and evaluating performance. - Oversee all brand partner giveaways on social and identify new partners we
can collaborate with to grow our user base. - Oversee and approve all branding and marketing aspects of our website and
Amazon presence. - Manage influencer program and outreach where applicable for both Packed
Party and retail partners we use influencer relationships for.
REQUIREMENTS:
● 4-6 years social media and or retail brand marketing experience.
● Experience managing a consumer product brands marketing initiatives.
● 2 years of management experience of both individuals and agency
relationships.
● Hands-on experience in brand content management as a critical eye in
connecting imagery and verbiage for the brand between all digital channels.
● Photography skills or interest a plus as you will be on-site for our national
magazine photoshoots, seasonal catalog shoots, and any additional
partnership marketing campaigns with national retailers.

● Extremely organized. You like your i’s dotted and t’s crossed. Most would
call you Type A when it comes to work.
● Creative and nimble in taking basic concepts and making them exciting
through story telling or great copy and imagery.
● An assertive and expert communicator and feel confident working cross
functionally with different types of personalities and teams both internally
and externally as a representative of the brand.
