Spring Cocktails You'll Love This Season

Spring is in the air and if we know one thing, it’s that we don’t need a reason to party!

Bring on the rooftops, the patios, and all the SUNSHINE! There’s nothing we love more than spending a fabulous Spring day sipping and celebrating the return of warm weather with our friends. After months of dreary cold (and the occasional bout of seasonal depression if we’re being totally honest,) we’re ready to get our party on and this list of cocktails we’re loving for the Spring season we’ve rounded up will help kick those winter blues!

YOUR NEW FAVE DAY DRINK
Since we don’t have to hide inside anymore, say goodbye to ciders and spiced wines and say hellllllew to bubbles, frozen drinks, and floral adorned cocktails. One thing we’re sipping this Spring is this light and seriously delicious marg! We conveniently sourced the recipe for you here. Not only is it super fresh, but it’s also super easy to make too. A win win if you’re asking us!

Here’s what you need:

INGREDIENTS:
1 oz Cointreau
2 oz blanco tequila
1 oz fresh lemon juice
.5 oz honey water
2 dashes rose water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with rose petals or something colorful like lime zest for a drink that’s sure to have anyone thinking you’re a mixologist.
Party Pro Tip: Serve ‘em up in these with the lids half open to see all the garnishes and watch everyone whip out their phones for the gram :)

THE NIGHT TIME REFRESHER
If you live life more on the sweet side you might like this sangria we’re equally obsessed with from Brewing Happiness. Did we mention its base is green tea?! It’s sweetened with JUST honey, so the sugar content is much lower than your average wine & fruit mix. Say see ya to that morning-after sugar headache.

 WHATCHA NEED:
1 bottle white wine (Sauvignon Blanc suggested)
6 bags green tea
1/3 cup honey
3 lemons , sliced
20-25 mint leaves

INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large pot or kettle bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add in 6 green tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags, and stir in 1/3 cup of honey. Let cool for 30 min-1 hour.  When the tea is cooled, combine it in a pitcher with white wine, lemon slices, and fresh mint leaves. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours before serving and sip sip yay!

HOLD THE BOOZE
Don’t think we forgot about mocktails on this list! If you’re taking a breather from the sauce, have no fear, mocktails are the rising star of Spring 2022! They’re a guilt free indulgence, the best of both worlds - all of the merriment, none of the hangxiety. Can we get an amen!?

Our favorite not-guilty pleasure is this Garden Booch from Seedlip. They’re a craft distillery that makes non-alcoholic spirits with high-quality ingredients to elevate the mocktail experience. Cool, right!? This kombucha based drink is mixed with their Garden 108 spirit (think Rosemary, Thyme & Spearmint + all the health benefits of kombucha). DELISH!

 WHATCHA NEED:
1 1/2 oz Seedlip Garden 108
Fruit Kombucha
INSTRUCTIONS:
Start by pouring 1 ½ oz of Seedlip Garden over ice in a glass. Top with fruit kombucha of your choosing. Garnish with mint.

Trust us when we say we could have kept this list going and going, but the Spring season is short in Austin so we had to get to stirring and sipping. Tell us, which of these will you make to celebrate Spring and make life a party? You can catch us poolside with our new collection sipping any of these!
